Former Georgia Tech basketball star Marcus Georges-Hunt will begin the 2017-18 NBA season as a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Georges-Hunt was extended an invitation to training camp as a bit of a long shot prospect, but obviously made the most of the opportunity. Georges-Hunt appeared in five games for the Orlando Magic last season, though he played primarily in the D-League - now known as the G League.
Sports Illustrated released its projections for the top 100 scorers in college basketball for the upcoming season. Georgia Tech had two players appear on the list, with Josh Okogie at #19 and Ben Lammers at #99.
