Georgia Tech lost 60-43 to the Georgia Bulldogs Tuesday night in McCamish Pavilion.
Tech played arguably its worst half of the season in the first 30 minutes. The Jackets shot 7-26 (26.9%) from the field and committed 10 turnovers. Tech did not manage a field goal in the final 6:09.
Georgia fared only slightly better, shooting 11-39 (31.4%) and committing eight turnovers,but the Bulldogs went into the locker room with a 27-18 lead.
The second half started a little more promising, with the Jackets hitting three of their first four field goals and quickly cutting the lead to six.
