The Georgia Tech basketball team will lead into ACC play with a 13-game nonconference schedule highlighted with games against Tennessee, Georgia and VCU. Tech will also play in a new version of the NIT Season Tip-Off, which has taken on a different format than previous years and will be played for the first time at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Of the 13 games, nine will be played at McCamish Pavilion, including the season opener Nov. 13 (a Friday) against Cornell and a Nov. 16 (Monday) matchup with Tennessee. The latter game will begin a four-game series with the Volunteers.
