For the second straight week, a college football team was able to win the game after executing some form of a blocked kick. This time, it was Georgia Tech who blocked an attempt at a game winning field goal by Florida State and returned it all the way for the winning score.
As it turns out, the play didn’t just shake up the college football polls (dropping FSU down and maybe saving Tech’s season), but it also shook the ground around the Atlanta stadium:
