It appears that Georgia Tech quarterback Justin Thomas will play in Saturday’s season-ending game with rival Georgia at Bobby Dodd Stadium. Thomas, who was removed from last Saturday’s game against Miami with an upper-body injury, practiced Wednesday, coach Paul Johnson said.
“I’d be surprised if he doesn’t play,” Johnson said.
At 3-8, Tech’s poorest season since 1994 will end Saturday regardless of the result against the Bulldogs, but Thomas’ likely availability gives the Yellow Jackets an increased probability of defeating Georgia for the second consecutive season in the annual rivalry game.
