A beautiful second half in front of a white out crowd helped lead Georgia Tech to victory over the visiting Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Despite trailing by eight at halftime, the Yellow Jackets ended up winning by 14 after outscoring Wake Forest 25-3 in the second half.
The Jackets had over 400 yards on the ground, led by quarterback Taquon Marshall. Marshall had over 160 yards on the ground, highlighted by touchdown runs of 49 yards and 70 yards. Kirvonte Benson also had a big night, as he rushed for 136 yards.
The defensive unit deserves a round of applause for a huge second half, in which they held Wake Forest to just three points, allowing Georgia Tech to get back into the game.
