Apparently last week's win over Florida State wasn't much of a sign of things to come.
The Jackets were shut out in the second half and lost 27-14 to give Virginia its second conference win. Georgia Tech fell to 3-6.
They now have to run the table against Virginia Tech, Miami, and georgia in order to make it to a bowl game. The 2015 season has officially ended a 20-year streak of finishing .500 or better in conference play for Georgia Tech. One more loss down the stretch of those three games will end a bowl streak that stretches across 18 years.
