More efficient pass-game play from Justin Thomas

Before Micheal Summers had turned back to look for the pass, Georgia Tech quarterback Justin Thomas was sending it on its way. The result was a 30-yard touchdown strike to the Yellow Jackets wide receiver, his second score in as many games after none in his first 27 games.

“I kind of knew where he was going to be at,” Thomas said of Summers on the third-quarter scoring pass off a play-action fake.

Saturday, Thomas built on his impressive quarter of play in the season opener with another strong passing game against Tulane. He completed seven of nine passes for 97 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions.
