Rather than letting his head-turning 40-yard dash stand, former Georgia Tech cornerback Chris Milton chose to run it for scouts again Friday at Tech’s pro day. He didn’t disappoint.
Measuring in at 5-foot-10 and 187 pounds, Milton blazed through the 40 in 4.37 seconds, following up his 4.35 run at an NFL regional combine this past weekend in New Orleans. He also performed position drills with fellow defensive backs Jamal Golden and D.J. White, drawing the biggest crowd of scouts.
“I guess it was kind of, more scouts out here, so whoever didn’t see it, I wanted to let them see it for themselves and just try to get as much publicity as I could,” Milton said of his rationale for running again.
