Georgia Tech linebacker P.J. Davis is expected to be able to play in Saturday’s game against Miami after suffering an ankle injury that forced him out of the Virginia Tech game last Thursday. Safety A.J. Gray could also make a return after missing the past two games with an undisclosed injury.
Davis was not made available for interviews Tuesday, an indication that he did not practice. Typically, a player would need to practice by Wednesday in order to play in a game that week. However, coach Paul Johnson said following Tuesday’s practice that “I think he’ll be able to go.
