With three games remaining in the season, Georgia Tech wide receiver Michael Summers has left the team, coach Paul Johnson said Monday.
“Just said he didn’t want to play anymore,” Johnson said.
Johnson said he had no prior indication of Summers’ plans. Summers, a junior, has started 26 games in his career and is second on the team in receptions with 12. He was the most experienced wide receiver on the roster and had started seven of Tech’s nine games this season, missing two with a clavicle injury.
