After dropping a decision to Georgia on Saturday, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets started a three-game home stand on the right foot, dropping the Southeastern Louisiana Lions 75-62 at McHamish Pavilion.
It wasn't exactly a cakewalk for the Jackets late as they let the Lions hang around a little as time winded down, but they opened up a lead as large as 24 with 16:27 remaining in the contest to give themselves a little breathing room. They shot 38.2% from the field in the first half while allowing Southeastern to 32.1% from the floor, but the difference was behind the arc - Tech was 6-17 from distance in the opening 20 minutes, while the Lions were 0-7.
