After watching Tobias Oliver be the star of the show against Virginia Tech and North Carolina, TaQuon Marshall reasserted himself on Saturday night and with authority. The redshirt senior got the start and never really relinquished the field. He finished the evening with 92 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries while picking up 73-yards on three completions through the air.
Marshall will get the start once again this upcoming Saturday in what will be his last game on The Flats. He enters this weekend’s match-up against Virginia with 751 rushing yards and 718 passing yards. He’s only 31-yards away from breaking the 2,000 career rushing yards mark and is six touchdowns away from 50 career total touchdowns.
