It was a wet, rainy night outside McCamish Pavilion in Midtown Atlanta, but the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets opened the offensive floodgates indoors against the Colgate Raiders as they cruised to a 76-60 in the second of a three-game homestand to wrap non-conference play.
Neither team had trouble finding the net in the first half, with Tech shooting 54.8% from the field and Colgate at 47.8%. But the Jackets held a 17-10 edge on the boards and, despite falling behind 14-13 with 11:56 remaining in the first, opened things up with a 19-6 run spanning just over seven minutes to go up 32-20 with 3:46 remaining.
