Georgia Tech Softball: Morales returns to Tech as Head Coach

Former Georgia Tech star shortstop and All-American Aileen Morales has returned to Tech. The Columbus, Georgia native played at Tech from 2005 to 2008. She returns to her alma mater as the newest head coach of the softball program.

According to Georgia Tech, Morales remains the program leader in games played, starts, at-bats, and stolen bases. She’s also top 10 in several offensive categories. Following her career at Georgia Tech, Morales had a small professional career while entering the coaching ranks as a graduate assistant with the Yellow Jackets.

From 2008 to 2013, Morales was an assistant coach on the softball team before becoming a head coach at Young Harris College where she went 51-51 over her two years with the program.
