After a much-needed win against Louisville this past Friday the Yellow Jackets picked up a recruiting win with their 19th commitment from a tight end, River Helms. Helms comes from West Limestone in Lester, Alabama. He is listed at 6’4” 225lbs. He does not have a rating from 247 as of now but Rivals grades him out as a high 3-star with a 5.7 grade and the 23rd ranked player at his position. There were no camps or visits this year so ratings could be incomplete but he shot up rather quickly in the Rivals ratings since high school football started.
