Simmons could add depth in the secondary (or elsewhere) beginning in 2016.
News broke Thursday afternoon confirming earlier reports that USC DB Lamont Simmons would be transferring in to Georgia Tech.
Defensive back Lamont Simmons, a native of Jacksonville, FL, has transferred from USC. He'll be eligible as a redshirt sophomore in 2016.

The Jacksonville native originally had a Georgia Tech offer before signing on to play at Southern Cal in February of 2014 over offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Penn State, and others.
