Georgia Tech Football: Two-Time All-ACC Center Sean Bedford to Replace Roddy Jones as Color Commentator on Radio Broadcasts

The former walk-on also won the first-even Burlsworth Trophy in 2010, awarded to the best player in the country who began their college career without a scholarship.

Confirming the suspicions of some (including myself), Georgia Tech announced today that former Yellow Jacket center Sean Bedford would be replacing his old teammate Roddy Jones in the radio broadcast booth this fall for football games. Bedford arrived at Georgia Tech in 2007 as a walk-on before earning a scholarship and serving as an integral part of the Jackets' 2009 ACC Championship team. He graduated following the 2010 season with a degree in aerospace engineering and a minor in pre-law, before returning home to Gainesville, FL to attend law school at the University of Florida.
