It’s never too early to get started on recruiting future classes and Georgia Tech has decided to get in early on elite 2021 quarterback Garrett Nussmeier. The offer is the fourth for the Marcus (TX) signal-caller, with the Jackets joining LSU, Missouri, and UTEP. The offer was extended to Nussmeier by Tech’s new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Dave Patenaude.
Calling Nussmeier elite at this stage might be premature but with offers from LSU and Missouri, it’s evident that Nussmeier has the potential to be a top quarterback in the 2021 recruiting class. Another good sign is that he attended the National Underclassman Combine in San Antonio, Texas on Friday and performed well according to 247Sports’ Steve Wiltfong.
