Georgia Tech head coach Geoff Collins is looking to keep players from the 404 in the 404 and on Sunday night, the Jackets landed their first commitment post early national signing day from three-star linebacker Cornelius Evans. The Lawrenceville native committed to the Yellow Jackets after coming off his official visit to The Flats this weekend.
Evans committed to Georgia Tech over 13 other scholarship offers including an offer from Rutgers. Evans is unranked by 247Sports but Rivals ranks the Lawrenceville native as a three-star prospect and a player with a 5.5 rating. They also rank him as the 107th best player in the state of Georgia.
