The Jackets have gone from 10 to 13 recruits for the 2019 class in just about 24 hours, adding defensive back Wesley Walker and defensive tackle Jamal Camp in a flurry started by offensive lineman Joshua Black yesterday.
If Camp’s last name is familiar, you’re on the right track: he’s the younger brother of current wide receiver Jalen Camp. He takes after his older brother in the size department, measuring in at 6-foot-1 and 270 pounds (versus Jalen at 6-foot-2, 217 pounds), and chose Tech over offers from Tennessee and a number of FCS schools.
A three-star prospect out of South Forsyth, Camp’s primary recruiter is listed as quarterbacks coach Craig Candeto.
