It wasn’t easy and it wasn’t always pretty, but Georgia Tech earned their seventh victory of the season on Saturday afternoon with a nailbiting 30-27 victory over Virginia in overtime. The Yellow Jackets used 268 yards on the ground to get by the Cavaliers.
TaQuon Marshall led the Yellow Jackets and all ball carries on the ground with 107 yards including a 38-yard run. He added an additional 37 yards in the passing attack thanks to a superb Brad Stewart catch.
For the Yellow Jackets defense, it wasn’t their best performance of the season, allowing 403 yards of total offense including 273 yards through the air.
