The former three-star prospect out of LIlburn, Georgia did see playing time as a true freshman for the Yellow Jackets thanks to the injuries the Jackets suffered at the b-back position. Malloy, who picked Georgia Tech over several other Power 5 programs played in one game this season for the Yellow Jackets, meaning he’ll officially have redshirted for the 2018 season.
The lone game that Malloy played in for the Jackets was against Virginia Tech on October 25th in the Jackets dominating 49-28 victory. Malloy in that game saw four carries for 27-yards, an average of 6.8 yards per game.
