Former Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket Lucas Johnson has decided the best place for him to finish off his college football career is actually one of his home town programs, the San Diego State Aztecs.
Johnson, a member of the 2016 recruiting class is a native of San Diego. He began his career as a Yellow Jacket, redshirting behind Taquon Marshall in 2017 and was battling to be number two guy again in 2018 before injuring his foot and being lost for the entire season.
He was given an extra year of eligibility during the following summer and played in six games under new coach Geoff Collins this past season.
