Georgia Tech picked up a 4-star running back in Rome’s Jamious Griffin Wednesday morning, beating out a pair of ACC and one nearby SEC program. He was recruited by former Georgia Tech running back Tashard Choice and former Nick Saban assistant Brent Key.
Griffin, whose brother Ja’Quon is a defensive lineman on the Flats, decommitted from North Carolina State in late January and immediately drew renewed interest from other power five programs.
At 5’10” and 205 lbs, Griffin is rated a 4-star by both Rivals and 247Sports. He was named 2018-19 Gatorade Player of the Year in December.
