One of Georgia Tech’s best players on defense now has two more seasons to play on The Flats. Curry, entering his redshirt junior season has been granted a sixth season by the NCAA due to his injury history so far in his career.
Curry is just coming off his second full season as a Yellow Jacket playing all 13 games under Paul Johnson and Nate Woody in 2018. The Buford, Georgia native recorded 46 tackles last season while also grabbing one interception, forced fumble, and touchdown through the course of the season. Prior to last season, Curry missed all of the 2017 season due to an injury that he sustained in fall camp.
