Three-star wide receiver and Tallahassee, Florida native Avery Boyd has decided to end his recruitment by committing to the Georgia Tech football program on Saturday afternoon. Boyd, a 6-foot-2, 198-pound wide receiver is the 21st commitment of the Jackets 2020 recruiting class. He is unranked on 247Sports but is ranked on Rivals, as a three-star prospect with a 5.5 rating. He joins Grayson wide receiver Ryan King and Deerfield Beach (FL) wide receiver Bryce Gowdy as the Jackets receivers in the 2020 recruiting class.
According to Rivals, Boyd had eight total scholarship offers including the Yellow Jackets with other programs offering him including Mississippi, South Florida, and UCF.
