Things were going well, and then Justin Thomas got injured.
The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (3-8, 1-7 ACC) came out firing on all cylinders against the Miami Hurricanes (7-4, 4-3 ACC). The wheels came off almost immediately after that.
Tech started the game holding the Hurricanes to a 3 and out on defense and scoring on a 6-play, 62 yard drive that looked too easy. Turns out it was, as Justin Thomas was injured on the drive and did not return. It was all downhill from there, as the Hurricanes went on a run of 31 points that went unanswered until the Jackets broke the streak in the fourth quarter.
