No.11: A Pair of Transfers
DE Antonneous Clayton and WR Marquez Ezzard both decided to pick Georgia Tech as their transfer destination this past offseason. This was huge news for the Jackets and if the NCAA grants them immediately eligibility, both will surely play this season. Ezzard and Clayton were both highly recruited recruits out of high school. They are also native to Georgia and that weighed in their decision to come back home to Georgia Tech.
In 2016, Clayton was rated as a five-Star recruit from Vienna, GA, fifth in the state and second position, according to Rivals recruiting database.
