The 2019 football season is officially over for the Yellow Jackets, bringing an end to another decade of Georgia Tech football.
The 2010’s were a decade of ups and downs for the Jackets. 90% of the decade was under the reigns of former head coach Paul Johnson and his infamous triple-option offense. A new era began in the 2019 season as Geoff Collins took over as head coach.
In the 2010’s fans were able to witness some of the most exciting and heart-wrenching games in Georgia Tech history, such as the Miracle on Techwood Drive against Florida State in 2015 and the wins over in-state rival Georgia in 2014 and 2016 (both of which occurred in Athens).
