One of the top players in the country and one of the country’s top ten point guards has narrowed list of schools down to an “elite eight”. Among those eight programs is Georgia Tech, the lone ACC school on the list of four-star Boogie Ellis. The Yellow Jackets are also the furthest program from Ellis’s home in San Diego and while they got into the top eight, it will be interesting to see if the distance becomes a bigger part of his recruitment going forward.
That being said, the remainder of Ellis’s list includes Arizona, Gonzaga, Memphis, Oklahoma, Oregon, San Diego State, and USC.
