Former Georgia Tech star Chris Bosh will live in immortality within the Miami Heat organization. On Monday, it was announced by the organization on Monday afternoon that Bosh’s No.1 jersey will be lifted to the rafters at American Airline Arena.
Bosh, who spent one season with the Yellow Jackets was the No.4 overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft by the Toronto Raptors. In his lone season at Tech, the Yellow Jackets went 16-15 on the year despite having three future NBA players on their roster. In that season, Bosh averaged 15.6 points and 9.0 rebounds per game.
