The Georgia Tech men’s basketball team on Tuesday night began their final homestead of the 2019-20 season as they hosted the Clemson Tigers at McCamish Pavilion.
The Jackets entered the game with a 13-14 record overall and a 7-9 record in conference play. With slim hopes of making the NCAA Tournament, the Jackets could not afford any sort of loss in the remaining four games.
Three Tech starters finished the game with double-digit performances led by the junior guard Jose Alvarado who had 19-points on 8-of-14 shooting and 3-of-5 from beyond the arch. Sophomore Michael Devoe wasn’t too far behind Alvarado with 14-points.
