Georgia Tech Basketball entered the ACC Tournament on Tuesday with a two-game winning streak and some momentum to make a little noise in the brackets but would come up short of a rally in the second half against Notre Dame.
The mantra of the entire season for coach Josh Pastner has been the ability of the Yellow Jackets to be elite defenders in the conference and to increase their survivability against opponents. Notre Dame eliminated that threat fairly quickly on Tuesday. The Irish would lead by 20 at the half and would be able to hold off a surging Georgia Tech team in the second half.
