After having their worst offensive performance statistically since 2015 on Tuesday night, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets bounced back on Friday night against East Carolina with a huge win where the offensive performance was the key to the 79-54 victory.
The Yellow Jackets overall shot just under 50 percent for the game and shot 52.7 percent from beyond the arch against the Pirates. Sophomore shooting guard Corey Haywood II and freshman point guard Michael Devoe lead the Yellow Jackets offensive with 18 and 13 points respectively.
Haywood’s 18 points didn’t only lead the Yellow Jackets but it led all scorers as he made 5-of-9 shot attempts including 3-of-5 from three.
