Georgia Tech men’s basketball continued their recent struggles on Monday evening against the Houston Cougars. The Jackets entered the evening looking for another much needed victory as they looked to get above .500. The Houston Cougars had other plans, however, using a huge first half to get past the Yellow Jackets.
In the second half, the Jackets put together a much better performance but were unable to overcome their first-half deficit. However, despite the better defensive performance in the half, the Jackets were unable to pick up their pace offensively. Overall, in the half, the two teams were able to match each other point-for-point working themselves to a 27-27 draw.
