Despite having an up-and-down calendar year, Georgia Tech Men’s Basketball ended the 2018 calendar year with an 87-57 victory over the Kennesaw State Owls.
The Jackets used a big 49-point first half to get out to a 23-point lead at half time. The Owls would be a bit tougher in the second, but the Jackets still outscored the Owls 38-34.
Tech forward Abdoulaye Gueye lead Tech on the day with 16 points. Moses Wright, Jose Alvarado, Brandon Alston, and Evan Cole all scored double digits as well.
Overall, it was a much needed team effort from the Jackets.
