Georgia Tech Baseball: Yellow Jackets Take Down 12th Ranked Oklahoma 2-0

Ben Schniederjans and Jay Shadday combined for a two-hit shutout against the Oklahoma Sooners on Tuesday afternoon. In what was a pitching duel throughout the game, the Yellow Jackets managed just six hits of their own against four Oklahoma pitchers.

Schniederjans pitched five shutout innings on Tuesday, striking out six batters while allowing just three to reach base.

Shadday was just as effective if not more in relief on Schniederjans on Tuesday. In his four innings of work the left-handed freshman struck out three and allowing one hit. The freshman was consistently around the plate with 34 of 45 pitches called strikes.
