Another day, another win for the Georgia Tech baseball team as the Yellow Jackets approved to 6-0 on the season. On Saturday afternoon, the Yellow Jackets bats came to life again, putting up double-digit runs for the fourth time this season.
Seven different Yellow Jackets collected two or more hits on Saturday, including sophomore Joey Bart who went three-for-four for the second consecutive game. Bart, the Yellow Jackets starting catcher has started the season on fire, hitting 11-for-26 with two home runs and six RBI.
Starting pitcher Jonathan Hughes pitched three strong innings for the Yellow Jackets on Saturday, allowing one earned run and just two hits.
