Georgia Tech took their first official series of the 2020 season on Saturday afternoon as they defeated the Ohio State Buckeyes 5-2 for their third straight win of the 2020 season. The Yellow Jackets were by sophomore Cord Roedig who had a strong bounce back performance against the Buckeyes after being lit up against the St. John’s Redstorm last weekend.
Roedig pitched six strong innings for the Jackets, allowing just one run over a single hit and three walks. He also struck out six in his winning effort that moved his record on the season to 1-1. The performance also dropped his +9.
