Georgia Tech on Saturday afternoon won the second game of their doubleheader against the Virginia Tech Hokies by a final score of 4-3. For the Yellow Jackets, it gave them a sweep of a doubleheader on Saturday and helped clinch their sixth consecutive conference series victory.
Sophomore left-hander Brant Hurter got the start in the second game of the doubleheader, looking to follow up a great start from Connor Thomas. Hurter would last just 2.2 innings against the Hokies, surrendering three hits and three walks. However, he did not give up any runs during his time on the mound.
