After picking up wins over St. Peter’s and Cincinnati in their first two games of the season, the Georgia Tech baseball team suffered their first loss of the 2020 season. The Jackets fell to the Big East’s St. John’s Red Storm at Russ Chandler Stadium by a final score of 11-1.
Sophomore right hander Cort Roedig got the start for the Yellow Jackets looking to carry over his success from last year’s postseason. It would be a tough start for Roedig, however, as he would allow four earned runs and six total in just 3.2 innings of work.
