The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are set to begin their final non-conference series of the series on Friday night when they take on the Southern Conference’s Western Carolina Catamounts.
The Jackets enter the series as one of the country’ top ten programs, sitting at a comfortable record of 30-14 on the season and are a strong 15-9 in non-conference play. The Catamounts, on the other hand, are 18-22 on the season and are 11-11 in non-conference play as they come to Russ Chandler Stadium on Friday.
The Catamounts have struggled as of late, however, losing seven out of their last 10 games including a weekday loss this week to Appalachian State.
