After going 2-1 in their opening weekend at home, the Georgia Tech baseball team goes on the road for the first time in 2020. On Tuesday, the Jackets will make the three hour trip down to Statesboro to take on the Georgia Southern Eagles.
The Yellow Jackets will be looking to get back into the win column after dropping their weekend finale on Sunday to the St. John’s Red Storm 11-1. After solid wins over both St. Peter’s and Cincinnati on Friday and Saturday, both the Jackets pitching and hitting struggled against the Red Storm.
Georgia Southern can’t complain about how they opened their season up, sweeping the Ball State Cardinals.
