The Georgia Tech baseball team looked for a series sweep of Clemson on Sunday afternoon but a late rally by Clemson in the game ended up costing the Jackets the victory.
Brant Hurter got the start for the Yellow Jackets on Sunday but ended up going just one inning. The left-hander was struggling with some forearm tightness earlier this week, so a flare up in his forearm would make sense of why he was pulled after just 17 pitches.
Curt Roedig ended up getting the next five innings of work. Over those five innings, Roedig allowed three earned runs over five hits and one walk.
