Junior infielder Wade Bailey went 3-for-5 on Thursday night and drove in four runs in a 14-7 victory for Georgia Tech. The 14 runs that the Yellow Jackets put up are the most the team has scored in ACC play this season. The victory on Thursday is arguably the Yellow Jackets biggest of the season so far in terms of impact on postseason play.
Freshman infielder Austin Wilhite also had one of his best days as a Yellow Jacket, going 4-for-5 at the plate and driving in four runs as well. Senior outfielder Ryan Peurifoy went 0-for-1 at the plate but was able to draw three walks.
