Georgia Tech Baseball: Bats go silent in 6-0 loss to UCLA

The Georgia Tech baseball team started off the weekend with a bang when they took down a top-5 ranked UCLA team 4-3 in extra innings thanks to a Kyle McCann walk-off homerun. On Saturday, the Jackets fell behind early to the Bruins and never caught up but had a second chance at winning the series on Sunday.

Unfortunately for the Jackets, that wasn’t the case on Sunday. The Jackets in the rubber match game of their three-game series against the Bruins could never get it going at the plate, mustering up just four hits on the afternoon.

Jesse Bergin pitched six tremendous innings for UCLA, allowing just two hits and two walks while striking out four.
