This game was frustrating. Tech did some really good things, particularly on defense, but the offense was utterly unable to take advantage. This team is just not there quite yet.

The Good

• Georgia Tech’s defense forced three early turnovers.
• The defense dominated in the second half, only allowing a single field goal after a 3 and out.
• Georgia Tech played a relatively clean game. Penalties have been a recurring issue, but the Yellow Jackets avoided those mistakes today especially on the offensive line and the defensive secondary.
• Jerry Howard had a huge punt block that gave Georgia Tech a ton of momentum and could have been a turning point in the game.
