Don’t know what came over me. Anyway, yes, the initial CFP rankings are out, and, ooooooh, undefeated defending national champion Clemson is the first team out at #5! I’m sure this has resulted in more than a few spicy takes in certain areas of the Internetosphere, and if the net denizens there could hear me, I’d tell them to stay calm; this will shake itself out over the next few weeks, and at the end of the day we’re going to end up with Clemson-Alabama V in January anyway.
