Florida State will be missing one of its top run stoppers as they travel to Georgia Tech this weekend.
Redshirt senior linebacker Terrance Smith will be missing his third game since suffering a high-ankle sprain against Wake Forest. He missed out on the Seminoles’ wins over Miami and Louisville. Smith has also not participated in practice since sustaining the injury.
Head coach Jimbo Fisher said he wasn’t sure if Smith would return on a radio show on Wednesday. Thursday’s injury report confirmed that Smith has been ruled out of the game on Saturday.
The Tallahassee Democrat reports that “FSU will rely on leading tackler Reggie Northup and emerging redshirt sophomore Ro’Derrick Hoskins at the linebacker positions.
